We Asus a few days ago to feel the new range of products under Windows 8 and Windows RT. The company took the opportunity to rename its range: we do not speak Pad Transformer when it comes to Windows RT, but rather VivoTab.
This range is available in several models, several different sizes and configurations, but obviously does not concern us all. We discussed a bit in writing and we felt it would be legitimate to a site dedicated to mobility deal only with RT Windows, the operating system Microsoft ARM version. This limits us so this time the VivoTab RT, since the rest is clearly too bulky to enter our editorial. So, VivoTab RT, what what?
First, it is a touchscreen tablet that looks to be mistaken for a Pad Transformer. You will find lines slate Android and more or less the same pattern: the Tegra 3, 32 GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, 8 mpx camera and a 2 mpx webcam, a microSD slot, a USB port 2.0 on the dock and an HDMI port on the tablet. Obviously, as you have noted in this enumerated list, the outstanding feature of this model will become a real little netbook. Finally, "small" in size and not by the price: it will take € 699 for the tablet with the keyboard dock - which is much more expensive than a 10-inch netbook with the full version of Windows 8 eg.
